Mesa Refinery Watch is a community-based group of volunteers with background as scientists, engineers, business owners, government officials, health care professionals and others with the commonality of concern regarding the proposed Phillips 66 rail spur project.  The multi-disciplinary group studies and reports on the impacts of the proposed rail spur operations and the transport of crude oil by train to the Mesa Refinery site to identify reliable facts.  The scope of the analyses include health, safety, economic, lifestyle and other tangible and intangible detriments that would occur should the project be approved.  Evidence-based research is constantly uncovering new information.  Read our newsletters for the most current information.
